As a Specialist Technician you will provide specialist technical support, expertise and guidance to groups and individuals for taught programs. You be responsible for the day-to-day operation of resources linked to the delivery of 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Milling, Model-Making, 3d scanning and photogrammetry (ensuring staff and students work in an environment that is both productive and safe), for the maintenance of equipment and for the ordering and receiving of equipment and materials, ensuring the effective use of suppliers and contractors.
You will not only bring key skills with you but will have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops in an evolving area. This post is largely a flexible role and you will work to a structured roster over the course of the year.
