Hi Hackspace Members,
We would like to invite you to join us for our first ever Elecromaker Hangout in Poole! Checkout our projects, show off your projects or just come and see what a Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard & Arduino development board can do!
We will have plenty to see and do, food and drinks and a prize draw!
The session will include :
- Show and tell
- Getting started with the Raspberry Pi - Workshops
- Build a Balloon Fighting Robot

Makers show their projects, answer questions
Beginner’s Workshop
- Make random sparkles with the Sense HAT
- Controlling a traffic light sequence with GPIO Zero

Connectivity’ Launch Contest
We have also launched our ‘connectivity’ contest with a huge $5000 prize pot up for grabs for 13 lucky winners, along with 50 Electromaker gift packs which will be awarded to the entries we feel deserve a reward.
Maybe your project could connect to your phone; perhaps it could talk to your laptop or even your doorbell. Whatever it does, as long as it uses some sort of wireless technology we want to see it.
